About the Role
Jentia Aviation, LLC, an Aviation services consultation company, is looking to expand its ranks to support the growth and development of its Aviation services. Jentia Aviation, LLC's long-term strategy is to support and accelerate MRO programs that will dramatically increase due to the growth and development of the Aviation industry.
We are seeking a UAV flight instructor to be part of a dynamic team. In this position you will act as a Drone Flight Instructor or UAV Coach, you will lead on-site flight training classes in the St. Louis area, where you’ll teach people who are seeking to improve their flying and real-world operational skills while building your own skills, resume, and network. In this role, you will provide industry leading instruction, student mentorship, guidance, and expertise on the theory and practice of unmanned flight. Our ideal candidate should have solid experience flight operation and knowledge of FAA practices and regulations.
Requirements
UAV background and experience required.
Teach training sessions generally and establish our class outline
Teach on DJI drones brought by students as well as provide your own DJI drone for training purposes.
Tailor the instruction with flight safety as the first priority while ensuring that the student is a better and safer pilot at the conclusion of training.
Keep your personal online calendar current and linked to our calendar software to ensure a seamless booking process for students.
Review local weather forecasts and message the student to reschedule the class if necessary.
Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
Budget and project management experience required.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong time-management and organizational skills.
